This project centred on capturing the spirit of the Texas-rooted brand while marking its arrival in the UK for the very first time.
Tom directed, shot, and edited a launch film that introduced SXSW London’s identity, bridging the legacy of the Austin festival with the bold energy of its new home. The film was designed to live both online and across growing digital platforms, helping to set the tone for the festival’s UK presence.
The shoot made creative use of brand visuals integrated into real-world London environments, including the distinctive growing branded pillars in central London, creating a dynamic and confident visual statement that brought the new identity to life.
